Finish the thing
you keep
putting off
.
30 actions on the thing you keep putting off, in 30 days. You pick the one thing. Every day you commit to a specific action, do it, and report back to an Accountability Team of 6 people who notice when you go quiet.
- ✓ About 5 minutes a day to post
- ✓ One 20 minute team call each week
- ✓ Refund if it does not help you
- COMMITTED
- Write 600 words of chapter 3.
- COMPLETED
- 641 words.
- NEXT
- Finish the final scene tomorrow.
Chapter 3 is where I stalled on mine too. Do not edit yet. Get to the end first.
No post yet today. Second quiet day, so someone will ask.
You already know what it is .
There is one thing you have been carrying for months. Nobody has to tell you what it is. It comes back every Sunday night. It is usually one of these.
Business
The one you keep meaning to start.
Course
The qualification you are a few modules from finishing.
Book / Portfolio
The portfolio, the book or the showreel that is almost ready.
Talk
The conversation you keep deciding to have next week.
Habit
The one that lasts 11 days and then quietly stops.
Files
The project sitting in a folder you have stopped opening.
This is not a
talent problem.
You have finished harder things than this. The delay isn't a lack of ability it is the absence of a system that makes execution inevitable.
Unscheduled Routine
Nothing in your calendar creates active pressure to force execution.
Zero External Push
Nobody is waiting for updates, relying purely on motivation.
Why the last attempt
stopped
.
You did not run out of willpower you ran out of
5 key things.
Most people restart the same goal 3 or 4 times, hitting the same invisible walls. Here is what was
missing.
A next action
small enough to do today
"Launch the business" is not something you can do on a Tuesday afternoon. When the action is too big, procrastination wins. You needed a micro step.
A reliable
weekly rhythm
Relying on sudden bursts of motivation is unsustainable. You needed a structural, metronome like pulse a specific time each week to review, plan, and commit.
Specific people
who notice when you
go quiet
Broad "public accountability" doesn't work. You needed a small group where your absence is felt immediately. A team that expects you to show up.
An experienced guide
to navigate
roadblocks
When you got stuck (and you always do), you needed someone who has seen that exact problem before and knows the shortcut out. You needed a mentor, not just cheerleaders.
A clear finish line
that is not
years away
Endless goals breed fatigue. You needed a fixed, near-term date (like 30 days) to sprint towards. A place to finish, rest, and celebrate a concrete win.
These are exactly the five things
Overdue is designed to provide
.
We don't give you motivation we give you the machinery. We engineered the environment so that taking the next action is easier than not taking it.
One action a day.
A 3 step loop
to keep it honest.
These are not 3 tasks. There is 1 action each day, chosen by you. Commit and close are the 2 short sentences you post around it, and posting them takes about 5 minutes.
Commit
In the morning you post the specific action you are going to complete today. Specific enough that by the evening the answer is a straight yes or no. "Work on the book" is not an action. "Write 600 words of chapter 3" is.
Complete
You do it. This is the only part that takes real time, and you decide how much: 20 minutes on a bad day, 2 hours on a good one. Nobody sets the size of your action except you.
Close
You post what actually happened, including when it was less than you planned, and you set tomorrow's action while today is still in front of you. That is the day closed.
Before day 1, a kickoff session
You are walked through naming the goal, defining what finished actually looks like, and turning it into a first week of daily actions. You do not need a plan before you join. You need to know what the thing is. You leave the kickoff with day 1 already decided.
Every week, a 20 minute team call
Your Accountability Team meets once a week and answers the same 3 questions in the same order what moved, what is stuck, what is next. 20 minutes, 6 people. Short on purpose, so it stays a habit rather than another meeting to dread.
When your team cannot help, the community can
Some questions are outside the experience of 5 other people. Those go to the Private OVERDUE Community, where every member from every team can see them, along with the live sessions, the recordings and the announcements.
Nobody gets to quietly disappear
A missed day is visible to 5 people the same evening, because the team is small enough that a gap is obvious. The first thing that happens is that somebody asks. You have 1 grace day across the 30. Miss 2 days and you lose your place, which is the promise the programme makes to the other 5.

"Draw from the experience of everyone."
Someone on your team
has already done it.
This is not being placed with 5 random people who happened to sign up at the same time as you. Your cohort is engineered by our human team, not an algorithm.
We match you with peers who are running towards the same definition of finished, guided by an alumnus mentor who has successfully navigated the exact path you are on right now. You are not starting; you are joining a proven structure.
Someone who has
been where you
are
The fastest way out of a stuck week is standard peer accountability, backed by an alumnus mentor who already built their thing.
6 people,
assigned to you
Friends are not in your team because standard friendship rarely provides the specific, verified check-ins required to break deep procrastination.
Nowhere to
quietly disappear
When someone goes quiet for 48 hours in a small group, the first thing that happens is that somebody notices, standard protocol is triggered, and a teammate follows up.
Ricky Ingram &
Taz Skylar
OVERDUE is run by Ricky Ingram and Taz Skylar. They built it around the same pattern they kept seeing: not a lack of ambition, but a lack of anyone who noticed whether the work got done on an ordinary Wednesday.
Live Sessions
They run 4 live sessions across the 30 days, in the Private OVERDUE Community. All 4 are recorded and go out afterwards.
Designed the Loop
They designed the daily commit, complete and close loop and the 3 weekly questions your Accountability Team uses.
Private Community
They are in the Private OVERDUE Community and answer questions there.
Daily Accountability
Neither of them is in your Accountability Team of 6, and neither reads every daily post. With hundreds of members that would not be true, and saying it would be a lie. Your daily accountability comes from your team.
Everything in the
30 days.
A short list on purpose. Every line is something you use, not something you download and never open.
A setup session before day 1
You arrive on day 1 already knowing your goal, what finished means, and what tomorrow's action is.
An Accountability Team of 6
Built to include someone further along. 5 other people who will notice on the day you stop showing up.
Access to Private Community
Every member in 1 channel. Live sessions, recordings, questions, and where wins get posted.
One 20-min weekly call
The same 3 questions every week, so nobody has to prepare and nobody can waffle.
Daily commit & close post
Where you name today's action, report what actually happened, and set tomorrow's goal.
4 Live Sessions
With Ricky and Taz (all recorded) on goals, breaking them down, and finishing strong.
Daily progress tracker, and 1 grace day
A record of the days you showed up, so on day 30 you are looking at facts rather than a feeling. Miss 1 day and carry on. Miss 2 and you lose your place.
Access after day 30, at no extra cost
Your team and the community stay open. The people who watched you finish are still there for whatever you do next.
One price. Everything above. 30 days.
There is nothing else to buy, no upgrade to weigh up and no add on. Every line above is included for every member.
For you if you already know roughly what the thing is, and what you have been missing is structure and people who notice.

Simple terms. Genuinely backed with zero friction.
What you have to do
Still be on your team on day 30, showing you participated in the process.
When you can ask
Up to 14 days after day 30.
How you ask
One email. No form. No call.
What you get
The full $297 back.
"There is no small print underneath this."
Is this you?
It works for some people and not for others. We would rather you read this and decide it is not for you than join and find out in week 2.
This is for you
If you match these criteria
You can name the thing.
There is one specific thing you have been putting off and you can name it.
You have tried before.
You have started it before and it stopped when life got busy.
You can commit 5 minutes a day.
You can find a few minutes every day, including the bad days.
You are okay being accountable.
You are willing to be seen by 5 other people on the days you did nothing.
This is not for you
Please pass if this sounds like you
Looking for a course to watch.
You want a course to watch. There is nothing here to consume.
Trying to change everything at once.
You want 10 things to change at once instead of focusing on one goal.
Want to stay invisible.
You would rather not be visible to anyone while you work.
Need professional treatment.
What is in the way is something a professional should be helping you with.
Professional Notice
OVERDUE is a peer accountability programme. It is not medical, psychological, nutritional or financial treatment, and nobody involved is providing it. If something in your life needs a doctor, therapist, qualified financial adviser or another professional, please go to them. This can sit alongside that. It does not replace it.
The things people ask
before they join.
2 separate things, so it is worth splitting them.
Posting takes about 5 minutes: 1 line to commit, 1 line to close, 1 line to set tomorrow's
action. Once a week there is also 1 team call of 20 minutes.
Anything you can name and take a daily action towards. Finishing a qualification. Launching the
business. Writing the thing. Rebuilding a habit. Having the conversation. Clearing the admin you
have been avoiding for a year.
The only real requirement is that a day can end with a clear yes or no on whether you did the
action.
The action itself takes as long as you decide it should, because you are the one who sets its
size. Some people give it 20 minutes. Some give it an hour on a good day and 10 minutes on a bad
one. We do not publish a single figure for the total, because the honest answer is that you
choose it, and a number on a sales page would be a guess about your life.
No. This is about the one thing you chose. If that thing happens to be training, it works well for it. If it is finishing a dissertation, no exercise is involved at any point.
About 6 people including you. You are placed, you do not pick, and your friends are not on
it.
Teams are built on purpose rather than at random. Some members are at roughly your stage, and
every team is built to include at least 1 person who has already finished the kind of thing you
are setting out to finish. That person is there to tell you what the next move is when you
cannot see it, and being useful to someone behind them is part of why they came
back.
Separately from your team, you are in the Private OVERDUE Community with every other member,
which is where the live sessions, recordings and wider questions live.
You record a 60 second video saying what your goal is and what finished looks like. It goes to
your Accountability Team and nowhere else. It is never posted publicly.
Then you commit to your first action, do it, and close it out. That is day 1.
Miss 1 day and carry on. Miss 2 and you lose your place.
You get 1 grace day across the 30. Use it whenever you need it, then pick up from where you are.
There is no reset, no penalty and no starting again at day 1, because being sent back to the
beginning is the single most common reason people abandon a challenge.
The rule is firm on purpose. A team of 6 only works while all 6 are actually there, and the
promise this page makes to everyone else is that the people beside them are showing up.
Teams are watched for exactly this, because an inactive team is the fastest way for someone to drift out. If your team stops moving, say so in the Private OVERDUE Community and we will deal with it rather than leave you in a silent room for 3 weeks.
That is a normal state, and it is a different problem from not being motivated.
4 things exist for it. The person on your team who has already been where you are, who you can
ask on any ordinary day. The weekly team call, where "what is stuck" is 1 of the 3 set
questions. The Private OVERDUE Community, when the answer is outside your team's experience. And
the live sessions, 1 of which is entirely about breaking a large goal into actions small enough
to do on a Tuesday.
You do not need to have the whole plan worked out before you join. You need to know what the
thing is. The first action gets decided in the kickoff session, before day 1.
The daily part is not live. You post when it suits you, and 5 people read it when it suits them.
Nothing is scheduled and nothing is missed.
The 4 live sessions with Ricky and Taz are recorded and go into the Private OVERDUE Community
afterwards, so a clash costs you nothing.
Your weekly 20 minute team call is 6 people agreeing a slot between yourselves, which is usually
easier than it sounds.
Teams are matched and set up before day 1, so entry closes once that has happened. If you are reading this after the 30 days have started, get in touch and we will tell you when the next intake opens.
You keep your access to your team and to the Private OVERDUE Community at no extra cost. Most
people either continue with the same goal, which is now much further along, or choose the next
one.
Nothing renews, and nothing charges you again automatically.
Be on your team on day 30. If it did not help you, email us any time up to 14 days after day 30
and we return the full $297. There is only ever the 1 payment, so there is nothing else to
unwind.
No form, no reason required, and no call to talk you out of it.
Possibly not on its own. This is a peer accountability programme, not treatment of any kind. If what is stopping you is something a doctor, a therapist or another professional should be helping with, please start there. This can sit alongside real support. It is not a substitute for it.
In 30 days it is either
still waiting, or it is done.
Pick the thing. Commit to one action a day, do it, and close it out beside 5 people who will not let you quietly disappear, including someone who has already finished what you are starting.
